“Passive solar apartments proposed in Latham”
In a 7/28/16 article by Mike DeMasi for the Albany Business Review, DeMasi discusses the proposal to be put in front of the Colonie Town Board by Sunrise Management & Consulting to build an office space and two apartment buildings all using passive solar energy and cutting-edge architectural design. The 9,000 square foot office building would include a new corporate headquarters for Sunrise Management & Consulting and two apartment buildings called the Sunrise Solars. Plans include a walking trail surrounding the property and a pond on the property. An except from the article appears below and to read the whole story, click here.
For a company called Sunrise Management & Consulting, perhaps it’s only natural to want to build a new, roughly $6 million headquarters and apartments in Latham, New York, with a passive solar design.
The property management and real estate development firm is proposing a 9,000-square-foot office building and two apartment buildings with 21 units at 836-844 Troy-Schenectady Road (Route 7).
These business would remain at 836-844 Troy-Schenectady Road in Latham, New York while a new office building and 21 apartments could be built nearby using a passive solar design.
