The Van Allen apartments will include over 220 units with the finest fit and finish in the heart of the Capital District. In addition, the Van Allen project will bring much needed capital improvements to the surrounding North Greenbush neighborhood. The Communities first available apartments are slated for occupancy in Summer 2016.

The North Greenbush Water District 17 will be extended to accommodate residents of Van Allen as well as Iowa, Florida, California and Carolina Streets – a neighborhood that has been plagued by low water pressure and volume and has been without the protection of fire hydrants. The project will provide two new access points for emergency vehicles, and has provided two new police cars as well as pay for a portion of the bonds for the North Greenbush NYS Route 4 Highway Improvement Area.
Construction is being financed by First Niagara Bank.
