GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland Chamber of Commerce honored Mill Hollow Apartments as the town’s Best Overall Project for 2017.
The luxury apartment community off Route 20 includes an adaptive reuse of the former Bavarian Chalet restaurant as an oversized clubhouse for residents. When complete, the project will total 84 apartments.
The project is a partnership between local developer James Verseput of Hyperion Realty Advisors and Steve and Rick Buck of Buck Construction based in Whitesboro. Sunrise Management & Consulting manages the property.
The former restaurant had fallen into disrepair before work began, and the Chamber cited the contribution its rehabilitation made to the community.
“We appreciate Mill Hollow Apartments’ investment in our community and the repurposing of this property to serve Guilderland for years to come,” said Lowell Knapp, chairperson of the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce.
